These past weeks you can't help but notice all the decorations of eggs and chocolate and the adorable Easter Bunny that Easter is right around the corner. While candy and bunnies are fun (especially for the little ones!) ...but there is far more to this special day... and this entire past week.

Yesterday was known as "Good Friday". The Day when, over thousands of years ago, Jesus Christ was nailed to a Cross between two thieves, while many people mocked and jeered at Him, while a few who loved him grieved.

Why is this called "Good Friday"... when everything above that happened was not good?

Well.. something good did come from this:

Jesus sacrificed Himself for EVERYONE-- you, me, every single person on Earth both past, present, and future. Redeeming ALL OF US from the Curse of Darkness & Sin. All out of UNCONDITIONAL LOVE.

But it was not the end. Jesus died to give us life. But three days later... He came back to life... and lives forever... and is always with us!

So, as you enter Easter, whoever you are, know that this day is about HOPE. The Hope that is Jesus Christ, who died, defeated Death, and rose back to life... FOR YOU!

My Favorite "Easter" Stories

Below are my favorite stories that always remind me of Jesus's sacrifice and resurrection! If you know of any more stories like these, please, feel free to add them in the comments!

Have a wonderful Easter Sunday!

JESUS LIVES!
