I had made this image over 10 years ago, and nearly forgot about it until Facebook shared a memory... with this very image. Thought this will be appropriate.

Before I was born, my mom and dad served in the U.S. Army until Desert Storm. Afterwards, my siblings and I experienced growing up on military bases until 2008. (Long story, don't need to know all the details). Because of this, I can't help but highly respect those in the U.S. Military.

I remember during a family trip to Chattanooga, TN; we drove past the National Cemetery (without even realizing it) and caught sight of the soldiers' graves.

It was only a brief moment, almost like a flash... but it was enough to stir a deep, solemn feeling in our hearts.

Today we honor the many men and women who fought and died on the line of duty. Courageous and valiant warriors who sacrificed themselves for us and our nation. I hope and pray that many of them are at peace in Heaven with Papa-God, Jesus, and Holy Spirit... and that their loved ones will hold hope to see them again.
