Four more days to Christmas! Four more days to spend time with family and/or friends, and share Christmas gifts. (Or celebrate Chanukah if you're Jewish like several friends of mine!) But let us not forget the TRUE REASON to celebrate: JESUS, who came as a baby, born through the power of the Holy Spirit, from a young virgin girl named Mary, who was married to a humble carpenter named Joseph. Whose birth the angels, appearing before simple shepherds, sang and declared as "good news for all people".
Who came as a Savior, sent by our Heavenly Father God, to give His Life to redeem all mankind... because He loves us.
For a child is born to us, a son is given to us. The government will rest on his shoulders. And he will be called: Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Isaiah 9:6 (New Living Translation)
